“All good things must come to an end”. I wanted you to know that I have closed NuCulinary as a global cooking school as of the end of 2016. We have had a wonderful 17 years of teaching cooking classes, leading corporate teams to delicious results and providing wellness demonstrations amongst our many projects. I especially enjoyed being the emcee of many of the chef competitions around the Northwest, and having a role in our neighborhood Farmers Markets.
So, what is next for me? I will continue to be active with the local food and nutrition scene through the Seattle Farmers Markets; Les Dames Escoffier Seattle Chapter http://lesdamesseattle.com, Food and Culinary Professionals http://foodculinaryprofs.org; Women’s Chefs and Restauranteurs https://womenchefs.org ; International Association of Culinary Professionals www.iacp.com and my fellow chefs and food service professionals. I continue to support the Women’s Business Exchange http://wbex.org; the Nisei Veterans Committee Foundation https://www.nvcfoundation.org and the multitude of organizations which provide education and give back to our communities in support for women, diversity and our global community. Most importantly, I strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle and be present to each moment of life.
My personal mission was built on Illuminating, Illustrating and Integrating the role of food and health in our lives and that has not changed. I hope to see you around the thriving Seattle food scene in the future.
